IMBA is launching a unique membership campaign—to dramatically improve mountain biking nationwide—with a spring registration drive that will offer special prize opportunities and limited-edition IMBA gear to all who register, join or renew in March, April and May. The drive’s goal is to increase the capacity of IMBA’s local chapters by helping them grow their ranks of members to support new trails and better mountain biking nationwide. Members receive great benefits and help support local volunteer trail projects, advocacy work, and fun events in 2015 and beyond.The spring drive includes prize incentives from Scott Bicycles, Western Spirit Cycling, Specialized Bicycles and the Oskar Blues Brewing/REEB Ranch worth over $10,000. Anyone who registers with IMBA, joins, or renews their IMBA and/or IMBA chapter membership between March 1 and March 31, 2015, will be entered into a random drawing for either a Scott Genius 750 mountain bike or a VIP trip for two to the Burning Can Beer Festival at REEB Ranch in Brevard, N.C. Additional prize incentives will be offered as the spring membership drive continues through the Sea Otter Classic in April, wrapping up in May.
Memberships and contributions help support new trails, bike parks, advocacy and land protection efforts. When membership is associated with an IMBA chapter, that chapter receives a portion of each membership to directly support local and regional efforts.
Additional IMBA membership benefits include a special kit with a member card and stickers, a subscription to IMBA Trail News quarterly magazine, a year-long subscription to a cycling magazine of choice, discounts on a new Subaru, bike and outdoor gear, event registration and insurance.
